Lib Dem Surrey MPs slam Surrey County Council for creating barriers to supporting children with SEND
I stood to be your MP because like many of you I’d had enough of the economic and political chaos in which we now find ourselves.
I have friends locally who are struggling to feed their kids, pay bills, or are stuck on an NHS waiting list. Businesses are going bust while our day-to-day bills are skyrocketing.
I love this constituency. It is where I spend so much of my time with my friends, family, and running for Epsom and Ewell Harriers Athletic Club.
But my husband and I worry about the future for our three teenagers. Will they be able to afford to live in Surrey and get a good job? Will the NHS still be there for them?
My career has taken me from serving in the Army in the deserts of Iraq to working with local foodbanks. Now I’m campaigning for change!
We deserve better than a government whose political choices have divided our country, with devastating consequences for so many.
For decades this constituency had sent a Conservative to Westminster, but the 2024 election results across Surrey showed that many were fed-up with being taken for granted and instead switched to the Lib Dems.
Join our local Liberal Democrat team and help me create a stronger, fairer economy that brings back hope for everyone.
Thanks for your support.

Liberal Democrat MP Helen Maguire calls for Parliamentary vote on UK-US deal
Helen Maguire MP marks 80th Anniversary of VE Day with tributes in Epsom and Leatherhead
As liberals, we believe that true equality is achieved when individuals are not only free from prejudice and discrimination, but also free to fulfil their potential. So fighting for LGBTQ+ rights is not a choice Liberals make.
The Liberal Democrats' bold plan to restore UK leadership in science and innovation will drive investment, boost global collaboration, and ensure technology benefits everyone, not just the privileged few.
Reflecting on the year’s International Women’s Day theme of “accelerate action”, I am sadly reminded of how much more we still need to achieve.
